Sarah has quite the herd of fluffy animals, all of them rescues. Chailey (pronounced like “chai tea” with an “l”) is a three-year-old rescue mutt, the kind of mutt that is some perfect combination of a hodge podge of breeds, a combination that probably couldn’t be recreated if you tried. Hannah, at age 15, is more spry than you’d expect, and totally full of personality. She is Sarah’s baby. But Park, I just loved Park. Sarah found Park as a kitten, abandoned by its mother with one blind eye. She took him in and I think he is just lovely, even if his eyes are two totally different shades. He is the kind of cat that makes me want a cat.

I love these spots on the tips of her ears… Don’t they look just like ink blots?

This photo is only missing a rainbow in the foreground and a few galloping unicorns in the background, that’s how sickeningly cute it is.

And this moment, while not in the rainbows + unicorn category, is great. It’s crazy what the camera can capture that the human eye would never otherwise see.
