Alex + Stacy are the kind of people that either make you totally jealous or totally inspired. They are both gorgeous, brilliant + successful. So far they seem to be diving into parenthood with their trademark gusto. The way they talk about their baby is simultaneously refreshing and totally heartwarming. And I have to say, in all truthfulness, that Morgan is literally one of the most beautiful newborns I’ve ever seen.
A couple quick ones of the non-human babies:
I first met Denise + her family when I did their Christmas shoot last year. Right off the bat I connected with the way Denise is with her dogs and see a lot of myself in her relationship with them. I love the way she’s carried them through her life, pre-marriage, pre-kids, and they are still as close to her as they ever were.
It was amazing how much Connor has grown since last year. Little kids change so fast. And the newest addition, Oliver, had arrived just a month before the shoot. So there were three dogs, a newborn + a toddler. I loved the chaos, and love candidness of these shots.
