tav & billy

We did this session in honor of Tav + Billy’s five year wedding anniversary.  Tav is a photographer in her own right; Billy the front man for the U2 cover band, Under a Blood Red Sky.  (If you are in the Denver area, go see them this summer.  They put on a helluva show).

Tav + Billy were up for anything; and their Boston Terrier, Gizmo, was endlessly entertaining.

This last one is my favorite; I love that you can see the dog of whom you should beware.

Mike & Harlow

You might remember the last time I photographed Mike + Harlow, then dripping with 8-week-old puppy cuteness.  These images are from our second session; both puppies at six months old are still pretty irresistible. The tragedy in the inevitable leap from puppyhood to doghood is all that droopy skin gets used up and those incredibly innocent little expressions start to be replaced with something altogether more mischievous, especially when they’re half a year old.  But something else starts to happen around this time, which is that you start to catch glimpses of what they’re going to look like when they’re real, grown up dogs and there is something really exciting about that, too.

Brianna, from a recent family reunion photo shoot:

fly ball

This dog loves ball catching almost as much as he loves river wading.  More of Owen on the horizon—-literally and figuratively.

tucker, again

Hellloooo, Monday!  I am so psyched to shut off the word processor and give the analytical part of my brain a break.  I plan to do nothing but shoot all day, every day this week.  And blog.  Speaking of blogging, there will be a super fabulous give away later this week and a Denver event announcement.  So stay tuned, amigos.

Here is the rest of Tucker’s session.  That Tucker is such a handsome fella.
