I’m taking a hiatus, and here’s why : I have a wedding to go to, and it’s my own.
Pueblo Mountain Park is a 611-acre open space area between Pueblo and the Sangre de Cristos in Colorado. It’s a well-kept secret at the end of a long road that nobody drives down unless they already know what’s at the other end.
We were lucky enough to spend a Saturday morning there with my dad’s old truck, a hot thermos of coffee in our hands and a couple of good dogs at our feet.

Glorianna + Mazen said ‘I do’ in the new Denver Courthouse and then brought it home with a multicultural dance fest reception at an art gallery downtown. There wasn’t a body in the room that wasn’t moving, least of Glo + her new husband, Mazen.
We woke up yesterday wearing t-shirts; went to bed in sweaters. Roux was sorely disappointed; Prada was pleased as punch.
Glorianna + Mazen said ‘I do’ in the new Denver Courthouse, tromped around downtown Denver in the late afternoon sun for portraits, clinked glasses for a celebratory Champagne toast, and then brought it home with a multicultural dance fest reception the next night. It was utterly untraditional and completely apropos.
For a long while, I resisted all things Apple. I thought that one PC commercial made a good point and felt sure I could be just as hip on a Windows platform. I was a Droid and Dell kinda girl. But then I fell in with an Apple addict, got a helluva deal on a Powerbook, realized it was far cheaper to join a wireless family plan, a changeover that made purchasing an iPhone 4 practical. Because my allegiance to non-Apple products was directly tied up in practicality, I feel okay about this changeover.
