The Blakleys have quickly become one of my all-time favorite families. No kid smiles more than this one.
Camiece and DJ make darn cute kids.
A few frames of sisters Freya and Isla in a field of purple wildflowers last month.
Zachary + Graysen (with parents in tow) at Inniswood.
Images of my dear friend, Catherine, her husband, Michael, and kids Samuel + Vivian.
Images of the Gosselin family, full of light and full of energy.
The Girls’ Club; images from a collaboration with the wonderful Beth Seitz of Cut Color Style. {Beth was the magician behind the hair in this shoot, too}.
Images from a session with the lovely Harper Grace in Bexley, Ohio.
One of my very favorite annual sessions with one of my favorite families: Embry, little Milo and parents, Camiece + DJ.
Both of these kids are to die for. Images from a winter session with Zara and little brother Noah.
Images from a downtown Denver session with brothers Julian + Gabriel and mom, Rebecca.
Images from a shoot with Haley, Olivia, Liam + their Goldendoodle, Zoe in New Albany, Ohio. A winter shoot in Ohio with the sun! And blue skies!
Portraits of little Walt and his big brother, Roman.
I have some clients who have put into my hands the safeguarding of their memories for years now. Stacy and Alex are those kind of clients; near and dear to my heart and to my business.
{See their story and Morgan last year}.
Images from a holiday session with Peter and his new little brother, Levi.
Sadie and Sam love to ask me about how my husband proposed, what the wedding was like, what being married is like. Sadie said, you have to have a good story so you have something to tell your kids. How right she is; how important your story is.
Here’s a snippet of the Grimm’s story, in pictures.
These little guys were on the move from the get go. Wild kids are my favorite kind.
Images from a Colorado fall evening spent with Jolee + her parents. {And a new little baby brother on the way!}
Lily and Nora love their horses in a way that only a fellow horse-enthusiast can truly understand. And Ethan, well, Ethan rolls with the punches.
Images of a summer afternoon with Tawnya + her boys.
Sisters Sophie & Phoebe. I can’t help but feel a real affinity for them both; there is the same number of years between them as between my sister and I, and I can so easily remember the whimsy of that age.
Madeline has a dog, a flying rabbit and a bicycle-riding owl.
Here’s a joke Hudson told me during this session:
Q : What kind of shoes did the chicken wear when he crossed the street?
A : Reebok bok bok boks.
This is my second year shooting the Moore family. I loved the first, the second was even better, and I don’t see any reason why that would change the next time around.
Images from an afternoon with Genevive, 6, and Isaac, 4, at home and in the woods.
Last summer I had the fortunate experience of photographing Candice & Brandon’s wedding. This year, an equally lovely experience photographing their beautiful daughter, Saren.
When Stephanie was little her father used to bring her to Chatauqua, so it was fitting that we would photograph her children in the same wide open fields.
On a fine spring day I showed up to photograph the Dunkins: three kids and two parents who make their own 3D glasses, are proficient jugglers of fruit, and can do mad tricks on a trampoline.
