Dawn and Jason say I do deep in the Nantahala National Forest, equal distance from Asheville, North Carolina, Knoxville, Tennessee and Atlanta, Georgia at a country estate nested deep in the Blue Mountains.
Dawn first called me two years ago, after they’d gotten engaged but before they’d decided where to have their wedding. (They’re some of the most geographically diverse folks I know, so any place made sense for them). We chatted for a long time and decided to work together before we even knew where that would take place. I first met Dawn and Jason last fall for their engagement photos in Lexington, Kentucky, and those couple days were a wonderful chance to get to know them and what they are about before their wedding this summer. This couple has big hearts, and they designed a complete weekend experience for every family, friend, guest (and photographer!) in attendance. They are lovely, big-hearted people, and their wedding was an honor to witness.
