When my sister and I were little we were lucky enough to have a babysitter who remained a part of our lives long after we moved away and grew up.  Coincidentally, Catherine’s birthday is the same day as mine.  This year I got engaged on my birthday, and just as my heart was skyrocketing and my head was trying to wrap itself around that new reality, I got an email from Catherine with the news that they were the new adoptive parents of a baby boy on the very same day. Catherine, Michael and Samuel live in Chicago, but she and SJSJ (Samuel Joseph Seibel-Johnson) were recently in town and I cherished the quiet morning I shared with them.
